Pre-Kindergarten
Children develop social and communication skills through physical games, individual and group challenges, and songs and poems in an English language environment. The Pre-Kindergarten program is a very important launching platform for children to acquire English fluency. For English speakers, Pre-Kindergarten provides opportunities to work & play within a diverse community, to establish foundation learning skills, and to explore the Mandarin language. Pre-Kindergarten is a half-day program with classes running in the morning or afternoon.
Junior and Senior Kindergarten
The Junior and Senior Kindergarten classes have full day programs designed to expand the range of activities that are available in Pre-Kindergarten. Children are introduced to the concepts of literacy and numeracy with ample opportunities to gain understanding through the use of manipulative materials, books, games, puzzles and computer software programs.
As a rule, all Kindergarten classes are limited to 20 students. Each classroom has a certified teacher and a teacher assistant.
