As students emerge into young adults, TIS provides an environment where they are free to expand their horizons and stretch themselves mentally, physically, and emotionally. A creative, talented, and caring faculty supports this time of growth.

For many, this will be their first experience of moving from class to class and taking instruction from subject specialists. While students are ready for the enhanced academics and sense of independence that comes with this change, they also need monitored support during this time. In recognition of this, homeroom teachers at TIS provide each student with a guiding, positive influence. Grade level teams work collaboratively to ensure student success.

The secondary program is enhanced with experiences in band, drama, computers, and art. Students explore careers choices and post-secondary options in preparation for high school.
