Here are the next steps for applying for admission to TIS:

Complete an application form (pick up or download).

If applicable, the following items must be submitted with your application form before the application will be considered:

•	Copies of the applicant's school reports for the current and previous year.
•	A photocopy of applicant's birth certificate or his/her passport, if available.
•	A non-refundable application fee of $700MOP. Your cheque should be made payable to "The International School of Macao".

Upon receipt of your application and documents, you will be contacted to arrange a date and time for either an interview (Kindergarten-Pre, Junior, or Senior), a short test (Grade 1 or Grade 2), or a written test/interview (Grade 3 to Grade 12).

Student Admissions Policy

Overseas Applicants
Overseas applicants may be granted conditional acceptance based upon previous student progress reports but an admission test will be required once the pupil reaches Macao

Deadline: Students currently in the enrolment area (currently attending a school in Macao) will not be considered for enrolment for the current school year after March 31. After March 31, acceptance will only be for the 2007-2008 school year commencing in September.

Admissions Acceptance
Accepted students are required to confirm their enrolment by paying a deposit according to the current Fee Schedule (link) within ten days.

Admissions and Placement
Students joining our Pre-Kindergarten, Junior Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten classes must reach the ages of 3, 4 and 5 (respectively) by 31 December of the year of entry. Placements for all other grades are based on age and/or their level of educational attainment. For more information please see our Admissions Policy and our Student Placement Policy.
