Thank you for considering The International School of Macao for your child or children.
We do not take the privilege of educating children lightly. We are passionate about creating an environment where children will thrive intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Our well equipped and open campus provides the foundation of our program. Our proven Alberta curriculum reinforces our program and our highly trained teachers make the program come alive.
Our Admissions section will guide you through the application process. The rest of the website will give you an idea of what a school day experience is like at TIS. However, it is very difficult for a website to show you the eagerness of our students, the care and support that our teachers provide, the rich diversity of each classroom or the community spirit that permeates our campus. On a website, you can’t hear the laughter of children or see the look of pride on the face of a student who has worked hard and experienced success. As such, we invite you to come visit us and to experience our TIS community first hand.
TIS prepares students for post-secondary education around the world. Ninety-nine percent of our graduates have received direct admission offers. More than 250 universities around the world have accepted TIS students and our Alberta Education diploma. TIS alumni have gone on to post graduate studies at top universities, found employment in a variety of industries, and started their own businesses. TIS students have received university offers from Canada, including University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser Univeristy, McMaster University, University of Alberta, and Queens University; from the UK including Imperial College London, University College London, University of Edinburgh, King’s College London, University of Manchester, University of Warwick, University of Glasgow, and University of the Arts London; from Hong Kong including University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Chinese University of Hong Kong; from Australia including University of Melbourne, Australian National University, University of Sydney, and Monash University; and the United States including University of California, Los Angeles, University of Michigan, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Washington, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, and New York University.
