‘Think Digital’ Laptop Program
TIS started its “Think Digital” Laptop Program in September 2015. Increased access to technology directly benefits students’ learning by allowing for more engaging and diverse teaching to occur. Students who use laptops are able to access multiple sources of information and share & collaborate with others in a variety of ways. This program requires each student in grade 7 & 10 to bring an approved laptop to school each day. The Macbook and the Chromebook are the two approved devices for this program.
If you are new to TIS and your son/daughter requires a device, please visit the Technology Office for more information. Backpacks (with laptop compartment) are available for purchase from the uniform shop.Posted Jun 2
The TIS Parent’s Association acts as an important link between the School and parents, and helps to promote a sense of community within the School.
As a parent of TIS, you are automatically a member of TISPA and are encouraged to attend any of the monthly meetings or join any of the TISPA Sub-Committees. Your input is invaluable! Research has shown that a student’s education is enhanced when parents actively volunteer in their school.
