A First aid attendant is on staff during regular school hours. If a student is injured or feels ill, he or she should report to the First Aid Office. The attendant will make an assessment and provide treatment as necessary. Parents will be notified if the illness/injury warrants the student leaving school early.
Emergency Contact – Telephone Trees
Each year the school develops an emergency phone tree to assist in contacting parents in case of emergencies such as typhoons. Each parent usually calls two other parents to provide a fast communication process. The telephone tree must only be used for official school statements.
Allergies – No Nuts
Parents are asked to refrain from sending peanuts (or other nuts) to school with their children. Some of our students have a severe allergic reaction to nuts.
